During Reunion 2004 we established a class award to recognize classmates or others who go "above and beyond" the call in working for the class. We are calling it the "Have Dinner on Us!" award. It is a gift certificate of up to $100 to be awarded at the discretion of the class officers. Any classmate can recommend someone for this award by sending a message to one of the class officers. The class officers will meet (or confer by phone) and decide whether to make the award, and publish the news about the award and the reason for it on the website. We will do this periodically (as needed).
 


  2004 Award: (nb: As we write the following we are honored and humbled, and both a little teary-eyed) The first recipients of this award are Anita Verchinski Gebhardt & husband Klaus. They were selected for the work they have done and continue to do in creating and maintaining this class website.  In the words of Thea Cardamone "and the good news - You & Klaus are our first recipients! So, please let me know if you have a favorite restaurant in the area or how we can get you the award you have earned. We are all very grateful for your help. And, please publicize this in the website."

Thank YOU from Klaus and me. A LOT of classmates worked much longer and harder than we did and this is pure fun. We toasted ALL the class of 1969 as we enjoyed our romantic dinner at The Greek Isles in Plano, Tx.. Oopah! Thanks to all of you!
